Please find attached a press release with important information about the youngest age groups and their eligibility to compete at the National Championships in 2025 and beyond.

Judo Australia advises it is is committed to keeping judo safe, welcoming and fun for all judoka: our youngest cohort needs to focus on building foundations to ensure they are ready for high-level competition.

As such, the youngest age-group eligible to compete at Nationals will now be the 11-13 age group, with Under 11s asked to focus their efforts on the National Schools Championships and NES events.
