As part of the Australian Sports Commission’s Play-Well Plan, the ASC is collecting information from sports on local club facilities that are integral to promoting participation.

We kindly ask each club to undertake the survey by following the link: Link To Survey

In addition, Judo Australia’s National Participation Manager, Shane Alvisio, will be conducting an audit of local club Judo mat areas starting Monday, 4 August. You will be asked toprovide answers to the following five questions:

1. Does your club have a permanent mat area? (Yes/No)

2. Is your mat area sprung? (Yes/No)

3. What is the size of your mat area? (Length × Width in metres)

4. What type of mats do you use? (Tatami / Jigsaw / Other – please specify)

5. Is your mat area owned by your Judo club? (Yes/No)

   • If “No”, should we record that it is owned by an affiliated BJJ club?

Your prompt response will assist Judo Australia in accurately representing our sport’s infrastructure in this important national project.
