We are excited to recieve an invitation from the chair of Judo Australia which has been extended to all our members to attend the 2025 Kodokan Judo Seminar & Dan Grading, taking place in Perth from 24–27 January 2025. This incredible event is being delivered by expert instructors from the Kodokan, the birthplace of judo, and is proudly funded through Judo Australia’s new PlayWell funding.
 
This seminar and grading provide a rare and unique opportunity for judoka to train directly under Kodokan instructors and deepen their connection to the sport’s traditions and techniques without travelling to Japan.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with the judo community under the guidance of expert instructors from the Kodokan.
 
We are also advised that participation in the January Kodokan Seminar will also be highly regarded during the selection process for the 2025 WA-Japan Judo Exchange Program.
