NSW End of Year Dan Grading
The NSW End of Year Dan Grading will be held on Sunday, 29 November at The Armoury, Silverwater, commencing at 9:30 a.m.
Candidates wishing to grade are reminded of the following application deadlines:
1st, 2nd and 3rd Dan: Applications are due by 4 November.
4th and 5th Dan: Applications are due by 11 October.
Applicants are encouraged to prepare thoroughly for the examination. A series of Dan Grading Preparation Seminars will be conducted over the three weeks leading up to the grading. The dates, times and further details for these preparation seminars will be advised separately.
Candidates should ensure that all required documentation and applications are submitted by the applicable deadlines.
The following must be included in the Application:
List of contest and service points claimed (must be detailed – tournament, opponent’s name and grade, details, and dates of refereeing, coaching or administrative positions held).
A completed Judo biography including grading history.
The Application form is signed by both the candidate and the relevant club coach.COACHES PLEASE NOTE: signing of the grade application for you studentis an indication that you believe they are qualified and ready to sit for their next grade.
