Register now for the 2026 State International 420 Coaching Squad.

Coaching will be led by Ben Hinks fresh from a European 470 campaign and supported by Aussie Higgins.

Coaching ratio will be designed to be small with groups divided by ability to ensure best and most relevant coaching. Format will be split between regatta coaching and fortnightly training sessions.

Locations will be split accross Largs Bay Sailing Club and Brighton and Seacliff Yacht Club.

Current plan is for the state squad coaching fee to be $300 per boat. This includes coaching at:

Spring Clinic

Youth Sail regatta (you will still need to registaer and pay for entry for both the regatta and clinic) 

SA State Championships (regatta entry still required)

and 6 fortnightly coaching sessions before Nationals
