New and Exciting opportunity for DF sailing and Racing – Lake Boga 2021 Easter Regatta are hosting DF sailing as a part of their established Full Size regattas!

LBYC is trying to get a DF sailing event to compliment their full size Easter Regatta – Please spread the word to Victorian /Southern NSW and SA DF Skippers
It's a cracking Regatta, great country Yacht Club – We know there are a lot of full size skippers who have joined the DF ranks – This event allows you to do both
We are also looking for DF skippers who would like organised racing during the day – You must register your interest ASAP for this so the organising group can allocate resources.
2021 LBYC Easter DF Regatta
Organising Authority: LBYC and ADFRSA [Australian DF Radio Sailing Ass.]
Competition Format: Fun – More boats always = more fun!
Classes: Dragon Force 65 (DF65 any version) and Dragon Flite 95 (DF95 any version)
Boat Configuration: DF65 boats are limited to A B and C size sails [NO A+]
DF95 boats are limited to A B and C Size sails [If we need D’s run for the hills folks]
Membership: Must be a member of ADFRSA [its free and they will issue HRN and Sail Number]
We can also sign you up at registration with ADFRSA (its easy)
Courses: Short 5-7min Windward Leeward courses (next start sequence 1 min after last finisher for as many races as possible)
Program: Friday Evening (after Full size racing) Scratch Racing Series 1
Saturday Evening (after Full size racing) Handicap Racing Series 2
Sunday Evening (after Full size racing) Scratch Racing Series 3
Cost: Gold Coin Donation per race day
There will be opportunity with enough interest to have additional day time DF racing!
With interest daytime sailing will be available while full size boats are racing (Tony White will lay a course and manage races as needed)
So we encourage everyone to come to a great family event! Please contact Tony if you want further information on activities on and off the water in the greater Swan Hill region
Beautiful grassed camping in YC grounds available - LBYC puts on a great show and it would be well worth the trip
We want to show case DF racing and sailing!
There is motel accommodation in Swan Hill and Caravan Accommodation near the yacht club
Camping for the event is $35 per adult $10 per child (for the first 2 children after that free) you have access to all the club facilities
Please Register your Interest or attendance using contacts below ASAP so we can forecast resources to allocate to DF sailing – please indicate if you will be sailing only DFs and if you want to attend Daytime sailing or Twilight
