Nominations are open for Coaches, Team Managers and Selectors for the Victorian Men's Masters teams competing in 2025 Hockey Australia Men’s Masters Championships in Newcastle  

Teams will be selected to participate in the age groups over 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+ , 65+, 70+ and 75+ for Men.  Some age groups may have Division 2 teams as well.

All Coaches will abide by the Coach Position Description which can be viewed on the Victorian Men's Masters webpage -  HERE. 

The Duties of Team Managers are as outlined in this Position Description - HERE

Selectors and Appointed  Coaches are expected to attend the selection trials (details to be provided)  to assist with player selection in conjunction with the age group selection team.   Coaches would also be expected to take the opportunity to view players over Summer Competitions and any lead up events to help in talent identification process and encouage players to nominate for selection consideration who might otherwise not consider nominating.  

Positions are self funded. An honorarium will be available for each appointed Coach.

The dates for the 2025 Hockey Australia Men’s Masters Championships are Friday 26 September to Saturday 11 October 2025 (Final dates for respective age groups TBC).  

Travel arrangements to and from the event are the responsibility of selected officials at their own expense and at their own risk.
