Sunday 20 July Join us for our first HV Christmas in July Community Picnic! We'll put up the volleyball nets in Lambton Park (beside the pool and bowling club) for a fun day of grass volleyball, picnic treats, and tunes with friends. More details to follow shortly.

The HV Annual General Meeting was held on 1st April at Broadmeadow, with a great turnout for pizza and a review of the 2024 season which saw the Association reach another new milestone, 568 Members!
We had a great conversation about big picture projects on our horizon, including facilities development and fundraising adventures. A full wrap up of the meeting can be found on the website.

We’re thrilled to announce that Peak Physio is officially joining the Hunter Volleyball community as a proud sponsor for the 2025 season! The JVL season begins on Saturday 31st May, with tournament-style weekends featuring the Panthers, Sunbirds and Sharks. Shoutouts to all of the juniors and parents who attended the recent selection Trials, and congratulations to those selected for the 2025 teams! You can see the Team Selections, Schedules, and follow matches Results on the Juniors website throughout the season!

The extended PVL season begins in just over a month's time. Nominations for playing positions close Tuesday 29th April, ahead of the first team selection Trials on Saturday 3rd May. Be a part of the region's newest competition, which is aimed at attracting and retaining experienced players to compete locally. Your 2025/26 Membership includes Personal Accident Insurance cover, the same type, same level and same Insurer as previously included under Volleyball NSW membership. If you are injured as a player, coach, referee or volunteer while undertaking activites with and for Hunter Volleyball, make sure your injury is recorded on the match scoresheet and that an Injury Report Form is completed with your Venue Supervisor.
Contact HV Operations Manager Michelle with any questions regarding your cover, and to commence the Injury Claims Process with our insurance broker, Bell Partners.

One of the fundraising initiatives we are launching this month is the collection of recyclable containers and donating the proceeds to Hunter Volleyball! Get involved today by collecting your eligible containers and:
- taking to Sell & Parker Carrington, depositing at the bulk automation station and quoting Hunter Volleyball to directly receive your monies; or
- bringing to Broadmeadow on the first Tuesday of the month and we'll take to Sell & Parker for you; or
- going to your nearest Return & Earn collection centre, scan the HV Barcode, and your monies go directly to our fundraising!
