There's 10 days to go to make a tax deductible donation this Financial Year, for our major fundraising program via the Australian Sports Foundation platform. Donations $2 or greater are claimable as a deduction in your 2024/25 Tax Return!  We're raising $100,000 for priority items such as flooring, nets and posts, and secondary requirements such as dividing nets and courtside/spectator seating. Every dollar is incredibly valuable helping us to achieve our goals of fitting out a volleyball facility which provides us 7 day-a-week access to programs and a place for community to gather and make your own!

So far we've raised over $10,000 through the facility levy, sponsorships, and fundraising activities.  We've applied for some targeted Grants and just waiting for these to be determined. You're invited to get involved with our Bunnings BBQs (12th July and 9th August Kotara, 18th October Maitland) and the weekly recyclable container drop off program, as all donations accumulate to achieve our major goals:
- donate at your local recycling station scanning the App and designating Hunter Volleyball as your charity partner
- bundle and drop at Broadmeadow (Tuesdays) and Maitland (Wednesdays) on competition nights.

During Term 1 and 2 we've welcomed so many amazing new juniors to volleyball, and they've been working hard each week with our coaches to learn and finetune fundamental skills and gameplay.

In Term 3 we are playing TripleBall, the modified game format, before transitioning quickly into the traditional Junior Social Competition format, which will bring all of the skills program learnings together.  The Term 3 competitions will prepare juniors for the 2026 Junior Volleyball League and beyond!

Registrations will open shortly on our Juniors page for PCYC Lake Macquarie (Mondays).

Subject to successful recruiting of staffing /coaches, we will also deliver these junior competitions in Term 3 at Maitland, on Monday and Wednesday afternoons to be played before the Adult Competitions each night.
