The Hunter Volleyball League is the highest level of competition locally for adult players, and it's where you can extend your experience as a player and referee, while making friends and having a blast this season.
We are conducting Trials for players to be selected in one of our four teams—Sharks, Sunbirds, Panthers, or Redbacks. This season is packed with trainings, games, scrimmages with the junior teams, medal matches and MVP Awards to finish the season strong!
Women’s Trials Dates:
• NB: New Time Trial 1: Tuesday 7 April 2026, 8:00 - 10:00PM at Newcastle Basketball Stadium, Broadmeadow
• Trial 2: Tuesday 14 April 2026, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM at Newcastle Basketball Stadium, Broadmeadow
The second Trial date includes returning team member training games - we'll contact you about the split training teams for the different Teams you can attend.
The trials are totally FREE — no cost to come along and show what you've got!
Registrations for trials close Sunday 12 April 2026— so sign up soon!
Competition Season

Hunter Volleyball Annual Membership – payable once selected in a team.
Hunter Volleyball League Player Fee — $320 incl GST (includes a playing shirt and training shirt)
