HSSC Membership Guidelines.

1: All members MUST be current SSAA members and enter your number and expiry on
     the form.

2: New members must provide either a current Firearms License number, OR a National   
     Police clearance not more than 12 months old. This can be uploaded on the form.

3: All new memberships MUST have 2 personal references. If either reference has a  
     firearm license, the license number must be included, these can be uploaded on the
     form. Reference document here for download.  references may use their own document, but it must
     state their details, address, firearms license no. if they have one, how long they have known you, that       

     they believe you are a suitable person  to join a gun club, be signed and dated by them.
    They can give to you to forward on or send to members@hedlandssaa.org.au
     NO NEW MEMBERSHIPS WILL BE PROCESSED WITHOUT THESE.

4: Once the above has been submitted on the application form, it will be reviewed.
     If the applicant is deemed to meet WA legal and both SSAA and local club
     constitutional requirements they will be approved and an invoice for payment sent
     out. When payment is received, the applicant is deemed to be a full member.

Please note that junior memberships start at 12 years old. They must also be SSAA
members, and between 12-15 they must have a signed consent form from a parent / guardian approving the activity, AND a parent or guardian must be present at the range.
Juniors between 16 to 17 years must have a signed consent form from a parent / guardian approving the activity.
Children under 12 years old may not use a firearm at any time.

 

MEMBER TYPES:

Adult. This is for 18 years and over. Allows 1 member full access to all regular local club competitions for the year.

Family:  A family has 1  Primary Adult, can have a 2nd Adult, and Junior 1 and 2

Junior. 12-17 years. Discounted membership and allows access to all regular local club competitions.

Senior. 65+ years. Discounted membership and allows access to all regular local club competitions.

Social. Any age group, and is intended for those who want to support the club, but don't want to shoot.  May shoot 3 times a year, but is welcome to attend all club events.

NOTE: If you are joining under a family membership, you will need to apply for each member, one at a time,   In the 'Registration Type' dropdown box, the primary member will choose the Family Primary Yearly fee, then when registering the next person, choose Adult  Member 2, then Junior 1, then 2 ETC.
