Hockey Tasmania Masters Women's State Teams Player and Officals Nominations - Cairns 

Nominations for selection are called from Women's Masters players aged 34 years or over as at 31 December 2019 to represent Tasmania at the 2020 Australian Womens Masters Hockey Championships to be held in Cairns. 

Championship Dates:  Wednesday 1 July to Saturday 10 July

Players and Team Officials are to arrive in Cairns on Monday 29 June, departing on Sunday 12 July.

Teams: Dependent on numbers and nominations.

We are hopeful of fielding teams in the following age divisions:

035+
040+
045+
050+
055+
060+
 

Trial Information:
Date:    Sunday 15 March 
Venue: Launceston - Ground 1
Time:   10:00am - 12:00pm

All nominees are expected to attend the trial scheduled in Launceston for their age group.
All players are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time.

Venue: Hobart - Ground 1
Time:   10:00am - 12:00pm

SELECTION OF STATE TEAMS:

Trial format:
All nominated players must be able to attend the designated trial. Players with known conflicting commitments including other sports, work and/or holidays should put this in writing to natalie.sproule@hockeytasmania.com.au 3 weeks prior to the trial date.  If you are unable to attend due to an injury you must advise Hockey Tasmania in writing your availability for training and the tournament.

AGE ELIGIBILITY & INFORMATION:  Players must be either of or over the age of their team on December 31, 2019. E.g.: DOB 31/12/1985 = 34+.  Players will generally be selected in their age group.  Teams entered in age groups will take into consideration the best possible outcomes across the whole contingent.

NOMINATION FEE:  $30.00 nomination fee applies.

PLAYER NOMINATIONS CLOSE:  Thursday 5 March.

Cost: Estimated team costs will be approximately $1700 per player, excluding airfares and uniform.
All players must be financial with Hockey Tasmania before nominating. All funds must be received before departure.  

OFFICIALS NOMINATIONS:

Nominations for manager and coaching positions are open for each age group.

Please note: All non playing officials accommodation, transport and flights are covered.  Costs for playing officials will be individually negotiated.
