The Foundation Coaching Course is a course designed for coaches working with our beginner athletes (junior club hockey, Hookin2Hockey etc). The course focuses on the concepts of learning through play and the FUNdamentles of hockey.
The course will cover:
- Goals, focuses and outcomes of coaching beginners
- How, why and what do we coach entry level athletes to do
- Child safety standards for hockey coaches
- Creating a positive experience for all involved
