Whether you're cruising the coast or planning your next offshore voyage, knowing how to plot and steer a course using traditional chart-based navigation is an essential skill that builds confidence and safety on the water.

Join us for our hands-on Course to Steer workshop, where you'll learn:

    🌊 How to read and interpret nautical charts

    🧭 Techniques for calculating a course to steer, accounting for tide and leeway

    📐 Plotting bearings and positions using traditional tools

    🪝 Learn about Dead Reckoning (DR), Course Made Good (CMG), Speed Made Good (SMG) and Course To Steer (CTS)

    ⚓ Practical exercises with real-world scenarios
