Australian Sailing - OutThere Sailing: OutThere Sailing Experience (Keelboat)

Course information

This course has passed.

We’re excited to include Xtreme, the HYC club keelboat, in Sunday racing — and we’re opening up spots for recent Crew & Helm Course graduates to come aboard! This is the first we will be trying this at Hillarys so you will be part of the trial to hopefully include this in future seasons!

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Continue developing your sailing skills in a safe, familiar setting

  • Meet fellow sailors and skippers back at Pinkys after racing — skippers play a key role in helping you progress toward endorsed crew membership

  • Use your Sail Pass — enjoy up to 3 sails before becoming a club member, we only have 2 race dates to choose from currently but hopefully can open up more for next season. You can also still use that 3rd sail pass for any other casual sail or race day, to experience sailing on a different boat!

Contribution:
A fee of $50 per sail date covers boat maintenance, race fees, and instructor support — and includes both race dates of your choosing.

Please note:
Spaces on Xtreme are limited. If you can’t make your allocated date, contact Kim at HYC as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to another sailor.

The Hillarys Yacht Club Xtreme is proudly sponsored by West Coast Boat Works
