I hope to convey a message that was passed on to me when I first started sailing and also when I first brought my own children down to the club for a 'Transition Day' after they finished their Sailing Australia courses.
Sailing is a lifelong skill and an amazing learning journey. Everyone has to start somewhere, sometime and no one ever has to stop sailing.
A Transition Day is another chance to get on the water (weather willing) and to connect with likeminded people. Please feel free to come down on this particular Saturday and bring any questions or ideas along. We sail most Saturdays!
Seasonally, the weather 'should' be fine and Warrick, Kim, I and other HYC sailors will be there to go sailing in whatever form that suits each and everyone's ability. After which, we can all chat about what HYC Dinghy section offers our families. Having completed courses at HYC you are all already familiar with where we sail and the boats you would continue to learn to sail on as members.
