The Hills District Softball Association (HDSA) held its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 22nd May, at The Galston Club. The meeting brought together committee members, volunteers, and community stakeholders to reflect on the past season and set the stage for the year ahead.
The AGM saw the confirmation and appointment of key executive and general committee roles. Leading the association into the new season will be:
President: Paula Gray
Vice Presidents: Georgina Mackean, Peter Markowiak
Treasurer: Georgina Mackean
Registrar: Damaras Clarkson
Assistant Registrar: Louise Hollier
Secretary: Caitlin Wilde
Several additional positions were filled through nominations, demonstrating strong community support and involvement:

Uniform Officer: Karen Kemp
Public Relations / Website / Social Media Manager: Hannah MacKean

Umpiring Convenor: Peter Markowiak
Competition Convenor Assistant: Kate Proctor
Public Relations / Website / Social Media Assistant: Stephanie Bowles
Despite the strong turnout and volunteer engagement, a few key positions remain vacant:

Sponsorship & Fundraising Officer
HDSA encourages members of the community who are passionate about softball and youth sport to consider stepping into these important roles.
The association thanks everyone who attended the AGM and extends gratitude to all outgoing and continuing volunteers for their invaluable contributions. With a dedicated team in place and a new season ahead, HDSA is looking forward to an exciting and successful year of softball.
