• Start: Wednesday 25 February – runs for 7 weeks

Eligibility

1. This league is a NSHPC member benefit.
2. Members will need to have:
   • DUPR account (Pickleball rating software)
   • Pickleball.com account (please see attachment 1 for instructions)

League software

• We will be using Pickleball.com software for this league.
  • This is the software that is used to run pickleball tournaments such as Australian and Tasmanian Championships.
  • The software will generate the groups and matches each week.
  • Players will be able to use the app to see games and enter scores for each game.
  • Scores will go towards player ratings on DUPR.

Format

• Up to 6 people per court
• The software will create 4 groups each night and each person will play with and against all the people in their group (called a scramble)
• Game length will vary depending on the number of people on the court.

• You will be able to pay online for each week that you sign up

How will it work?

After members have created their DUPR and Pickleball.com account:

• Members will first need to join the League Session 3 (this is the equivalent of a “season”)
• Each week members can “opt in” to play.
• Spots will open at a set time each week.
• There is no requirement to play each week.
• When the game day closes off, the tournament software will autogenerate the groups and scoresheets.

How to set up a Pickleball.com account

To set up a Pickleball.com account you will need to know your Club Membership Number.

If you are not sure, use the following website link and enter your first and last name.https://www.revolutionise.com.au/pickleballaus/member-finder/

1. Go tohttp://www.pickleball.com
2. Click on Sign up button on top right-hand side of webpage
3. Either
   1. Choose Google / Apple to manage your sign on or
   2. Add your email address and click on Get Started or
   3. Add your first and last name, then choose and enter a password
   4. Create a password
   5. Click on Continue
4. Go to your email to see instructions on how to complete your signup.
5. From the email, click on Click here to Verify,you will now be taken back to Pickleball.com to complete signup
6. Add your date of birth and gender (must match what is in club membership record)
7. Add your mobile number
   1. Select Country Code AUS (+61) e.g. if your mobile number is 0407 123456, then see below
   2. for Area Code - add 40 (leave the “0” out)
   3. for Phone - add 7123456
   4. Select YES for texts (this is important for tournaments later on)
8. Select time zone - Australian Eastern Standard Time
9. Add Emergency Contact details
10. Add your skill level for the Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Singles, Skinny Singles - Don't worry if you have not ever played singles, just add what you think your skill level is based on the Self Rating Guide
    1. Important Note:Be cautious with your self-rating.You are better to underestimate.Usehttps://www.pickleballvictoria.org/play/ratingsto assist you.Note: an advanced intermediate player is around level 3 so most people starting out on DUPR or Pickleball.com will be a 2 or 2.5.
11. Add your City, Country, State
12. Add your Pickleball Australia Member Number (https://www.revolutionise.com.au/pickleballaus/member-finder/).
13. ** If you already have a DUPR Account enter it now (If you don't you will have to come back and enter your DUPR account once it's created)
14. Click on Complete Account Setup
15. Click on Continue - you will be taken to the Login page of Pickleball.com
