It is like Indoor, but Outdoors !

Based on Hockey5s rules.

Nominally 5 players per team (Local Rule: Mercy Rule)

No Goal Keepers

No Penalty Corners or Penalty Strokes

Usual dates: First match: 1st Friday in Term 4, no matches on Melb Cup weekend, Last Match: last Friday in November (see calendar below).

All matches played at the Hawthorn-Malvern Hockey Centre

Game Times

U10 & U8 to play from 5:30-6:15pm

U12 to play from 6:20-7:05pm

U14 to play from 7:10-7:55pm

U16 to play from 8:00-8:45pm

Age group eligibility: as per HV winter competition.

Teams may be required to assist with ground setup or pack up, immediately before or after their game.

Opportunities for umpire development (players and parents)

BBQ every week (volunteers will be assigned !)
