For players who will not be attending the 2026 Masters Nationals at either T1, T2 or T3
Hockey Australia Masters’ members who wish to submit an exemption to participate/be selected for Australian teams for the 2027 Trans Tasman Challenge and cannot attend the 2026 Australian Masters Nationals at either the Women's/Men's trial events.
The exemptions process will allow players who cannot attend this selection event to submit a request to obtain an exemption subject to approval from the HMAC committee. ** Please note players requesting exemption due to playing in the 2026 World Cup will be approved but can only be considered in a shadow position**
Exemptions are granted via a selection committee panel and if approved will be emailed to the nominated party to notify them of either approval granted or denied for exemption.
To be eligible to apply for an exemption players must be a member of Hockey Australia Masters, have paid the nomination fee of $44.00 in the “2027 Trans Tasman Player Nominations “on Revsport & fit into one of the listed categories below.
Reason for exemption – Injury, Bereavement, FIH/HA Team involvement, World Cup 2026 Player
Players must also upload documentation from a registered Dr./Physiotherapist a medical certificate stating the reason for missing the tournament if the player is injured.
