HAMC have opened the Nominations for Australian Masters Coaches for the 2027 Trans Tasman Challenge teams to play in NZ.

The date for the Trans Tasman event has yet to be confirmed but currently estimated to be 9-15 May 2027. 

Teams will be selected to participate in the age groups over 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+ , 65+, 70+ for Men and Women and 75+ (Men Only). 

All Australian Coaches are required to have a current Hockey Australia coaching accreditation and will abide by the Coach Position Description

Positions are self funded. An honorarium will be available for each appointed position.

 

You will be required to meet at the accommodation or other location as designated by Hockey Australia Masters Committee (HAMC) on the above mentioned date and you will be required to stay at the accommodation designated by HAMC.

Travel arrangements to and from the event are the responsibility of selected officials at their own expense and at their own risk.

IMPORTANT:
For Players who are nominating as an Australian Coach:

An Australian Coach who nominates for selection as an Australian player in the age group to which they have been appointed will have their Coaching appointment set aside until completion of the Selection Event.  

If the Coach is subsequently selected as an Australian player, HAMC will appoint a new Coach for that age group.
