THIS IS FOR INDIVIDUALS LOOKING FOR A TEAM
Hockey Australia and the Hockey Australia Masters Committee are seeking team nominations to attend the 2026 Masters Indoor Invitational Event to be held across two tournaments over the following dates and locations:
Tournament 1: 4 - 8 December 2026, Illawarra Hockey Centre
Tournament 2: 9 - 13 December 2026, Illawarra Hockey Centre
We will ask you to nominate in 5-year increments so we can create the best fit for a viable tournament. Currently, we have allocated 5 days for each tournament, but this may be reduced to 4 days each.
Divisions will be split into either T1 or T2 depending on the number of teams nominating. If insufficient teams are nominated in a division, divisions may be combined. Team divisions will be communicated shortly after nominations are confirmed so that teams can organise transport and accommodation.
Please note the age cut-off for each age group is 31/12/2027 (allowing for players eligible for the age group in the following year to participate for Australian selection purposes).
This is intended to be an Australian Selection Event for any potential tournaments in 2027. At this stage, we do not have an event scheduled, nor do we know the date or location of the next Indoor World Cup.
