APPLICATIONS FOR OFFICIAL ROLES FOR 2026 MASTERS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Hockey Australia and the Hockey Australia Masters Committee are seeking Nominations for Tournament Officials for the 2026 Men's and Women's Masters Championships to be held across three tournaments - locations and dates as below:
T1 - Women: 24 September - 3 October 2026, State Hockey Centre, Adelaide, SA
T2 - Men: O35-O50: 24 September - 4 October 2026, Gold Coast Hockey Centre, Gold Coast, QLD
T3 - Men: O55 and above: 30 September^ - 10 October 2026, Gold Coast Hockey Centre, Gold Coast, QLD
^Note: Starting date may be brought forward depending on team registrations.
We are seeking to fill the following positions:
Tournament Director (TD)*
Assistant Tournament Director/Technical Officer (ATD/TO)*
Technical Officer (TO)
Judge
Lead Umpire Manager (LUM)*
Support Umpire Manager (SUM)*
Umpire Managers (UM/Umpire Coach)*
Umpire*
Those marked * will be fully-funded roles, while other roles may receive an honorarium. Applications are for full-time (7 days or more) positions, and/or part time volunteer positions. Depending on the role you have selected, you will be expected to arrive at the venue 1-3 days prior to the event. Details will be confirmed when appointments are made.

Please note: Position descriptions are being updated in line with the new HA Officiating Framework and will be updated once reference material is available.
All officials will be required to complete HA integrity requirements, which will be emailed on receipt of application.
