Twenty members of Hallidays Point Pickleball Club competed in the 2025 Paradice New South Wales Pickleball Championships held on April 12 – 14 at the Blacktown Leisure Centre. This event hosted 844 players from across the state, as well as interstate and international competitors.

Our club’s results were impressive on all three days of competition. Day One of gender doubles play resulted in Gold medals for Lorraine Barr & Vicki Hall, and Dennis Reaves, and Bronze medals for Kim Smith & Kay Holohan, and Elizabeth Yager. Day Two of mixed doubles resulted in Gold Medals for Kerry-Anne Casserly & Dennis Reaves, Silver medals for Vicki Taylor & Ron Peek, and Bronze medals for Kim Smith and Ken Schuck. Day Three of singles and skinny singles saw both Dave Casserly(skinny singles) and Dennis Reaves (singles) presented with gold medals. All of our competitors need to be congratulated for their skilful play and for representing our club in such a positive manner.

Special congratulations to Dennis Reaves, who achieved a triple crown in the over 70’s age category – three gold medals over three days! What a great achievement!
