Juniors
As a founding member of the Adelaide Hills Junior Soccer Association (AHJSA), you’ll find many older players in the region started out in our friendly juniors, where their love of the game was firmly established! Training sessions start in February, with the playing season usually running from April to September.
Our three stages for young players are:
- Minis Squad (4-6yo) – weekly skills development session
- Juniors (5-10yo) – weekly training & non-competitive Saturday games
- Competitive Juniors (11-17yo) – weekly training & competitive Saturday games
The club offers additional workshops throughout the year for players and their families, such as goalkeeping, respect, rules & refereeing. Juniors seeking further development are supported & encouraged to attend trials for league representative teams and other playing opportunities.

Volunteers
As a community club, we rely on our members to carry out the tasks that keep the club running. Like most clubs, all players (parents/guardians of junior players) will be included in a roster of weekly tasks that support their team (oranges, canteen, etc). We also appreciate the help of anyone with the capacity to assist in other ways, whether that's with a formal role on the management committee, or just in stepping up when there's a job to do. The club doesn't run without you, and the generosity of our helpers is what keeps our fees much lower than most, so thankyou.
Location
Our home ground, Rob Kilpatrick Park, is at the top of the Hahndorf Recreation Grounds at Pine Avenue in Hahndorf. Training is usually held here for Minis & Juniors. Depending on availability, some Competitive Junior and Senior teams may also train at the Summit Football Park in Mt Barker.
