About this event

Water Polo by the Waterfront is an open-water junior festival of water polo hosted by Gosford Water Polo Club at the Gosford Waterfront as part of the Central Coast Council Lakes Festival. The event is open to Under 14 players (born 2013 & 2014) from regionally based water polo clubs.

Acknowledgement of risk

I acknowledge that participation in water polo and open-water sporting activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, collision with other participants, and exposure to open-water conditions. I confirm that all participants are physically fit and capable of participating in the event.

Medical & emergency consent

I consent to participants receiving emergency medical treatment if required and where a parent or guardian cannot be contacted in time. I confirm that any known medical conditions, allergies or special requirements will be disclosed to Gosford Water Polo Club prior to the event.

Participant eligibility

I confirm that the participant is registered with Water Polo NSW (WPNSW) and is eligible to compete in the Under 14 age group (born 2013 or 2014) in accordance with the event rules. Media consent

I consent to the participant being photographed or filmed during the event. Images and footage may be used by Gosford Water Polo Club, its  sponsors, and Central Coast Council for promotional, social media, and sponsorship-related purposes including but not limited to sponsor websites, social pages, and marketing materials.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, I agree to release and indemnify Gosford Water Polo Club, its committee members, volunteers, and officials from any liability arising from a participant's involvement in the event.

Code of conduct

I agree that the participant will abide by all relevant GWP, WPNSW & WPAUS policies and Code of Conduct and the rules of the event. Unsportsmanlike behaviour may result in removal from the event without refund.
