ENROLMENT CONDITIONS

Unless completing a trial class, students must be enroled to participate. If your child is not enroled the instructor will not allow them to participate. Tuition fees are based on a full term (between 9-11 weeks), which run parallel to school terms (4 terms annually) except for public holidays. Missed classes will not result in make-up classes, prorata tuition or refunds. The instructors will determine the start and finish date for classes which may differ from the dates listed on the schedule.

No obligation trial classes are permitted with full term fees applying if you select to join the class. If a student joins a class late in the term, the full term fee is to be paid and a credit will be applied for use against future enrolments. Please consider carefully before registering a student in a class as refunds are not provided for students who withdraw from classes.

Exceptional circumstances will be considered if a student cannot participate in classes for an extended period (over 4 weeks). In these situations, evidence for missing classes (eg travel or medical documents) must be provided. A refund will not be provided but a credit will be applied to the account for use against future enrolments.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Parents or guardians who are dropping off or collecting students must meet the entry requirements of Gladesville RSL & Community Club Ltd. This can be done at reception on production of a drivers licence, there is no membership fee to be paid.

MEDIA RELEASE

By enroling your child you give Gladesville RSL & Community Club Ltd permission to use photographs or other imagery taken of your student for the purposes of Gladesville RSL Youth Club or in its promotion. This may include use in Club newsletters, website, social media, promotional DVD’s or other media. If there are any instances where you do not wish for imagery of a student to be used please notify us at info@gladesvillersl.com.au.

 WAIVER

By enroling you acknowledge and agree that Gladesville RSL & Community Club Ltd excludes all conditions, warranties and terms implied by statute, general law or custom, except any implied conditions or warranty the exclusion of which would contravene any statute or cause this clause to be void (Non-Excludable Condition) and liability for breach of a Non-Excludable Condition is limited to resupply of the services or payment of the cost of resupplying the services, in respect of which the breach occurred.

I acknowledge and agree that the Activities which are undertaken are for the purposes of recreation, enjoyment or leisure, involve a significant degree of physical exertion or physical risk and that Gladesville RSL & Commnity Club Ltd excludes all liability of death or personal injury relating to any participation in such activity however arising, including without limitation whether caused by the negligence of Gladesville RSL & Community Club Ltd in accordance with the Trade Practices Act 1974.

I release and indemnify Gladesville RSL & Community Club Ltd against any claim arising out of this contract in relation to any injury or death from the activity. I am aware that the facilities, in addition to the usual inherent risks, has certain additional dangers of which may include physical exertion for which I am not prepared or the use of equipment which if used incorrectly fails to perform its designed purpose. I accept all the inherent risks of the proposed activities and acknowledge that the enjoyment and excitement is in part derived from the inherent risks incurred by participation in an activity where risks are greater than the accepted safety of life at home or at work.

I have supplied the correct medical information regarding my physical person in order for staff or instructors to involve me in these activities. I permit the instructor/staff to seek medical assistance that is deemed necessary and in the event of an accident agree to pay all medical costs incurred. In entering into this contract, I am not relying on any oral, written or visual representation or statements by Gladesville RSL & Community Club Ltd or any other inducement or coercion to participate in the Activities, and do so of my own free will.

“Activities” means any use of the facilities in any way whatsoever.

“Facility” means all the equipment in Gladesville RSL & Community Club Ltd or other locations used in the participation of these activities.

“I” means personally or by his/her parent or guardian.
