Egyptian Format Play and Scoring. 1¼ hour TIMED GAMES but must have a winner.
Golf and RC are STOP on the bell unless tied – play on to Golden Point.
Association – Player at TIME completes their turn and opponent takes their turn, if game is tied, play on to golden point.
AC is Advanced Play. GC games are 13 point – first to 7 hoops wins.
All games are ‘off the stick.’
Handicap Cards will not be used in play – only for initial ranking. Each Player’s Initial Ranking will be determined by the Tournament Manager & Handicapper.
Players can play as many games as they wish in the time available, in any Code/s. (It is possible to play 10+ games before the finals). Players will need to have played at least five games across both days to be considered eligible for a placing. Main court will be under lights if players wish to continue play into Saturday evening or stay and socialize.
If required, finals play-off for 1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th and 5th & 6th places will be scheduled to commence by 1.45pm on Sunday, with Presentations approx. 3.15 pm.
Tournament Manager Jo Kitchiner will manage Game Allocations. Games will be allocated to courts for the first game of the day only, and thereafter games will commence on first available court in the order of allocation. Courts may be double-banked. Players are responsible for placing their own name card in the correct allocation box for the code they wish to play next when they are available and ready to play.
