Gove Boat Club monthly racing for members. Keelboats & Lasers
In order for us to operate there are a variety of guidelines to ensure that we can deliver activities safely to the community.
Hygiene
There will be hand sanitizer available and all shared equipment will de disinfected after use. We request that participants bring their own life jackets and water bottles.
Feeling unwell
If you are feeling unwell, have a dry cough or runny nose PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND. If staff notice students looking unwell the next of kin will be notified for immediate collection.
Social Distancing
During this time (Stage 2) we request that parents do not attend the briefings and keep clear of activities so we can practice social distancing. You are more than welcome to assist your kids in rigging and getting on the water but please be mindful the more people at a briefing the harder it will be for the kids to hear.
Volunteers will be restricted to no more than 2 per RHIB.
Whilst not ideal this is what must be in place in order to get on the water sooner rather than later. We ask that you respect these guidelines so that we can continue to work towards Stage 3 and all being able to enjoy sailing as it should be.
