Goolwa Sailing Club is pleased to announce the return of Sunday Learn to Sail for Season 2025/26 - welcome to new sailors and welcome back those families who have trained with us before!
It is preferred that attendees have completed a Learn to Sail Program or have had a basic introduction to sailing. Please contact Adam to discuss in you are unsure.
Junior Training aims to improve basic sailing skills in a fun and inclusive environment. Coached by Yossi Jagger and Adam Spees with the help of Assistant Instructors. Suitable for ages 7+.
Membership of Goolwa Sailing is a prequisite to registering for the program. The cost for annual membership for 1 junior is $80, please see the website or email goolwasailing@gmail.com for a form. Family membership also available.
Junior Coaching for the Summer Season is a pay as you go system, $20 per session. Please pay at the desk (EFTPOS or Cash) as your child signs on. This includes use of a boat for the day if required. The committee is dedicated to keeping costs as affordable as possible for families, we are all volunteers and our focus is getting kids out on the water. We would love to see the juniors stay for the day and compete in the afternoon racing (or alternatively, follow the racers while the safety boat is out there for some more water time!) There will be no charge for nominations or additional boat hire.
Note: This is not an Australian Sailing accredited course and instead is conducted by the school/club/organisation, outside of the Australian Sailing framework.
