GCHA invites boys aged 8–12 years to register for the Coulter Shield Carnival, a fun one-day representative hockey event at Ipswich Hockey Association on Sunday 26 July 2026.

This is a fantastic introduction to representative hockey, giving players the opportunity to represent the Gold Coast, play a series of short games throughout the day, and compete against associations from across Queensland.

The carnival focuses on participation, enjoyment, skill development, and building confidence in a fun and supportive team environment. While scores are kept and a winning association is recognised, the emphasis is on learning, development, and creating positive hockey experiences.

GCHA is committed to including as many players as possible and will endeavour to place all nominated players into teams.

Trials and Training are held every Sunday from 21st June to 19th July 2026 from 7.30am - 9am.
