We had a wonderful evening celebrating the 2018-2019 season close last Saturday at the Club. The weather was kind – a couple of juniors even felt so warm they decided to take a dip off the pontoon - the atmosphere fun, and there was a great turnout from Club members.  The shed looked great, flying the flags of many countries.

The following awards were presented during the evening for the 2018-2019 season:

Rowing awards:

• Male Rower:  Brad for his numerous races and wins
• Female Rower:  Jackie for ongoing outstanding seasons
• Male Crew:  Master’s 8+ Great effort in their campaign to be the NSW representative 8+ for the Masters Nationals, resulting in 3 crew members being selected to represent NSW at AMRC
• Female Crew:  Heidi and Jackie in their 2x, for constant success throughout the season
• Most Improved Male:  Finn
• Most Improved Female:  Liv
• Male Junior of the Year:  Cameron
• Female Junior of Year:  Maxine

Special contribution awards

• Do-it-all:  Jenny
• LTR support:  Catherine
• LTR support:  Alan
• Long-lasting contribution:  Brad and Luke

Fun awards

• Golden Flipper:  falling in with style: Chris
