Welcome to the Sport of Rowing!
Rowing is an excellent all body, low impact, cardiovascular workout suitable for most ages.
Whether you are aspiring to become a champion rower or simply wish to learn a new skill and meet some new friends – this Learn to Row course is the fundamental first step.
What will I be doing?
In your first session, you will learn the basic rowing techniques on an indoor rowing machine, as well as, becoming familiar with our rowing shed and rowing boats.
In further sessions, along with your fellow learners, you will be rowing on the beautiful Blackwattle Bay (unless prevented by the weather), where you will be coached by our qualified and highly experienced coaching team.
Stroke by stroke, you will all learn to move the boat and as a crew and manoeuvre safely around the bay.
