Congratulations

to our members who competed at Ballarat Regatta over the January 22nd Weekend! Success came in the form of 2 wins and a 3rd (so close- only 1/10th second in it!) The following Monday, 6 members were invited to train with the Victorian State Dragon Boat Team!! They had to demonstrate an elevated level of fitness, paddling techniques and speed to be invited! With further training, they are now hoping to be selected to represent Victoria at the Australian Dragonboat Championships, scheduled to take place in April! Well done everyone!!!
