Softball season is almost here, with just six weeks until the women’s competition begins on Saturday, 10 October. With competitively priced fees, clubs are recruiting players for women’s, social mixed and junior teams.

February 28, saw 701.8mm of rainfall fall up river of Lismore in the Rosebank/Upper Coppers Creek catchment with only one way to go - Lismore. With a river height of 14.4 meters, homes, business and sporting communities were inundated with water.
