FAST Training Curriculum Overview

At FAST (Fitness And Sports Taekwondo), our programs are designed to be completed across structured weekly training sessions that progressively develop technical skills, athletic performance and personal growth.

Rather than viewing each session as an individual class, every program follows a planned learning pathway where each training session complements the next. This approach provides students with the greatest opportunity to develop confidence, fitness, technical ability and lifelong healthy habits.

Families requiring greater flexibility can customise their attendance through our Flexible Program Attendance option; however, the recommended program structure has been designed to deliver the best developmental outcomes.

Optional Additional Training:
Participants may attend FAST Development Program sessions at Fairfield Heights Public School during alternate weeks to create a consistent weekly training schedule.

Program Focus

The FAST King Tom Club Hybrid Development Program has been created to support the growth of our Edensor Park community while providing families with a flexible and engaging pathway for ongoing development.

This unique mixed-age program encourages children, parents and families to learn together in an inclusive environment where teamwork, encouragement and shared experiences are central to every session.

Participants develop many of the same technical, fitness and personal development outcomes as the FAST Development Programs while placing an even greater emphasis on family involvement, community connection and learning from one another.

The hybrid model allows families to enjoy fortnightly King Tom Club sessions while maintaining consistent weekly training through optional attendance at Fairfield Heights, creating one connected FAST community across both locations.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will develop:

  • Confidence through shared family participation.
  • Coordination, fitness and movement skills.
  • Practical Taekwondo techniques.
  • Teamwork and positive social interaction.
  • Respect, resilience and lifelong healthy habits.
  • Strong family engagement through shared learning.
  • Connections across both FAST training locations.
  • A supportive community that grows together.

Our Training Philosophy

At FAST, we believe meaningful progress comes through consistent participation in a structured development program rather than isolated weekly classes. Each Development Pathway has been carefully designed so that every training session contributes to the overall learning journey. By attending the recommended weekly sessions, students experience the complete program as intended, allowing technical skills, physical fitness, confidence and personal development to progress together throughout the term.

For families requiring greater flexibility, our Flexible Program Attendance option allows sessions to be tailored to individual circumstances while still providing access to the FAST community and coaching experience.

  • Secure their place immediately after payment.
  • Receive instant confirmation of their registration.

To help everyone through the new process, we have created a step-by-step Registration Guide, which is attached to this post. The guide includes screenshots of each stage of the registration process and has been designed to make registration quick and easy.

Self Service Registration

The online registration system is now the standard method of enrolling in FAST classes. • Register participants,
  • Create invoices,
  • Apply discounts,
  • Process registrations on your behalf,

a Manual Administration Fee of $20.00 per invoice will apply. This fee helps cover the additional administration time, payment processing, and manual account management required outside of our standard online registration process.
