Taekwondo Essentials (Ages 12+ and Adults)
Class Duration: 55–60 minutes
Start times vary throughout the year between 6:30–7:30pm and 7:00–8:00pm.
Taekwondo Essentials is designed for teens and adults who want to build a strong foundation in martial arts while improving fitness, confidence, and practical self‑defence skills. This class offers a balanced introduction to Taekwondo, making it ideal for beginners as well as those returning to training.
The program focuses on developing the core skills needed for long‑term progress. Students work on discipline, concentration, self‑control, and respect—qualities that support personal growth both inside and outside the training environment. You’ll also learn how to train safely and effectively with partners, instructors, and more experienced members.
Each session includes fitness‑based activities that enhance strength, coordination, flexibility, and overall physical wellbeing. Our coaching approach uses modern, effective training methods to ensure sessions are engaging, challenging, and suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities.
Taekwondo Essentials forms the foundation of our holistic training pathway. The skills developed here prepare students for more advanced programs—such as Sports Taekwondo or specialised self‑defence training—ensuring you progress with confidence, capability, and a strong technical base.
