How to Join Us

1. New to the sport? Start with a Dragon Pass!

If you have never been a member of a dragon boat club before, you can start with a Dragon Pass. This gives you 30 days of free paddling with both FFB and Dragon Boat NSW (DBNSW).

How to get it: Click the "New Member" button below.

The Cost: It is 100% free for the first 30 days. No club or state fees apply during this trial, no payment details are needed

Next Steps: We’ll be in touch to reserve a seat on the boat for one of our Saturday morning sessions

2. Ready to commit? (Returning Members & Dragon Pass Upgrades)

Finished your 30-day Dragon Pass and it’s time to become a full member? Or you're a returning member from a previous season and it's time to renew?

How to join: Click the "Returning Member" button below. (Even if you only ever had a Dragon Pass, you are already in the system, so you are considered a "Returning Member”).

The Process: This portal will process your DBNSW State Fee (currently $135). Additional club fees are payable separately, see below.

3. Transferring from another club?

If you are an existing DBNSW member looking to join us, we will need to transfer your current club membership to FFB. Contact info@ffbdbc.com.au to arrange to come and paddle with us while we request the transfer

4. Club Membership Fees (2026/27 Season)

To keep our club running and our gear in top shape, FFB has an annual membership fee. This is paid separately from the DBNSW fee via a direct transfer to the FFB bank account. New members receive an FFB paddling top and cap.

General Club Membership: $230 includes access to all FFB training sessions, boats, paddles, coaching and equipment.

Racing Membership: $350 As above plus access to DBNSW regattas. Other competitions will incur fees e.g. Lunar New Year, State Championships

Membership Year: Runs from July 1st to June 30th

Payment details: Once you have registered here, we will send you the FFB bank details to finalise your membership payment.

We look forward to paddling with you.
