Overseas Fencing - Fees and Charges

Fencers wishing to fence overseas at events organised by the International Fencing Federation (FIE), the European Fencing Confederation (EFC) or Asian Fencing Conferderation (AFC) are required to purchase a licence from Fencing NZ. Event entries must be made by Fencing NZ through the relevant portal.

Zone Championships and World Championships are Nomination events and are subject to selection by Fencing NZ Selectors. Currently, all other events are open to all NZ fencers. Some events have a restriction on numbers per country. Please contact secretary@fencing.org.nz for further information.

Fencers wishing to fence in Australia are able to enter the event as long as they are affiliated to Fencing NZ. All Age Group National events in Australia are Nomination events and are subject to selection by Fencing NZ Selectors.

Fencers wishing to fence at club level overseas must meet the requirements of the country in which they are fencing.
