It is with much sadness that we advise Ian Chalmers passed away on the 11th June after losing his battle with cancer.
Ian has been the president of the Eastern Suburbs Racquetball Association for over 10 years. Apart from being the President of our association, Ian served on a number of Squash and Racquetball committees over the years. He was a significant figure in the organisation, development and promotion of our sport as well as being heavily involved with a large number of racquetball tournaments across Victoria over many years.
The Racquetball Community extend their deepest sympathy to his wife, Sandy and family, he was a true gentleman who will be sadly missed.
Ian’s funeral will be held at: Le Pine, Croydon, 132 Mt Dandenong Rd, Croydon on Monday 23rd June at 10am. The service will also be live streamed.
