A late and rocky start to the 2023 season see several changes to the Association that bode well for the future. Traditionally, Field Hockey is played from just before Easter to mid September in the Southern Hemisphere. During Summer there is indoor during late October to February. Being youth focussed competition stops during school holidays. This is what Douglas Hockey Association will return to.

The management committee invites member input at all meetings and informally. We will become a member driven low cost Association.
