Interested in getting involved in mark laying or race management, but havent known where to start? We are hosting a Mark Laying & Race Management Skills Session on August 30th, and this is the perfect opportunity to build your knowledge and confidence. This is for those interested in being involved  on a start boat, or laying marks of the course - essential roles to run all our races! The Squadron invites Derwent Sailing Squadron and Sandy Bay Sailing Club Volunteers to join us for this session.

Held on Saturday, NEW DATE AND TIME: August 30th 9am - 12pm, this session includes both theory and practical components to help you understand course setup and on-water operations. Open to all volunteers, especially those new to mark laying or looking to refresh their skills. Race Officer Ian Ross and Rear Commodore Richard Fisher will be leading this session, along with some experienced volunteers to help give advice and pass on their knowledge.

We encourage participants to complete the Australian Sailing Mark Laying online course prior to attending. Any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Amy on 03 6220 1502 or on sail.admin@dssinc.org.au.
