Winter Sessions @ The Squadron -Advanced Splicing Techniques
Event information
Winter is on its way! As the weather cools down, we’re excited to invite you to our monthly Squadron Winter Sessions. We’ve lined up a variety of topics, each presented by our talented and knowledgeable Members who are keen to share their expertise.
Our upcoming August 13th Session will focus on Advanced Splicing Techniques, led by Member Ben King. This hands-on workshop is the next step following our Learn to Splice course, and is designed for those who already have some basic splicing knowledge. The session will cover more complex methods, including 3-strand and 8-strand splicing, and will give you the chance to refine your ropework skills in a supportive, practical environment.
Please note:
-
There is a small fee to cover the cost of materials and tools provided during the session.
-
Attendance is capped at 10 participants to ensure a focused and practical experience.
-
If demand is high, an additional session may be scheduled—please let us know at sail.admin@dssinc.org.au if you’re interested and miss out on a spot.
We look forward to seeing you there and taking your splicing skills to the next level!
