Deaf Sports Recreation Queensland has organised a sport pathways and development camp for deaf and hard of hearing Queenslanders.

it is an opportunity for participants to train in Basketball, Netball, Touch Football, Futsal at the Sunshine Coast Sport Precinct and golf and at other venues. Other sports such as pickleball may be an option if possible.

You need to be 16 years or over to participate (more details in the registration information).

The weekend camp partially funded by the Queensland government through our Sport Pathways grant, is also an opportunity to train and tryout for the Queensland team for the 2026 Australian Deaf Games in July 2026 on the Sunshine Coast.

Registration cost [$90.20] includes accommodation, meals (more details included), sport and social program. Friday night dinner is not included, however supper is provided.

A Saturday only rate is now available - $65.00 [includes sport, lunch and dinner]

A wonderful opportunity to play sport, socialise and a taste of what's to come in July for the Australian Deaf Games.
