This course develops both your theory and practical skills to confidently take control on the helm of a keelboat. It is the next step after completing the Start Crewing Course. 

This program is ideal for anyone wanting to learn the basic skills of helming. 

Classes are conducted by friendly Australian Sailing qualified instructors.

LENGTH OF COURSE

The course runs for a total of 12 hours.

PRE-REQUISITES 

Completed the Adult Start Crewing Course or has previous keelboat crewing experience that is pre-approved by Training Academy. 

Minimum Age of 18 years.
