PROGRAM DETAILS

COST: $200

This program is designed to develop NT Youth sailors skills including boat handling, rules and tactics. Participants set goals and work with the coaches to improve as a whole and also on their individual goals. This is for Youth sailors that have the desire to become better sailors and also encourage the sport of sailing with other.

This program run by Darwin Sailing Club Training Academy with the support of Australian Sailing.

Classes are conducted by friendly Australian Sailing qualified coaches, Tom and Nick.

LENGTH OF COURSE

Weekly on Thursdays during term 2 and term 3. 

PRE-REQUISITES

for youth aged 14-20 years old competing in a Laser Radial or Full Rig and is a Member of the Darwin Sailing Club.

Program Focus:

The Intermediate Fleet Program includes scheduled and regular coaching. Allowing you to practice and race in club and class association programs at clubs.

At Intermediate Fleet level you may remain active- for-life, and enjoy lifelong activity which can cross multiple disciplines, and class of boat or board. 

During the Intermediate Fleet Program, there is continued freesail opportunity to support further enjoyment in the sport and environment.
