Welcome to Southern Investigator Winter Program Training Day 5 afternoon session Cost of the session: $125 Time: 1.00pm start and 4.30pm finish What to bring: Some lunch, warm clothes, wet weather gear if owned (if not no problem we have lots on the boat), a change of clothes for apres sailing refreshments at the CYCSA club bar.
This session is going to focus on
Handling a yacht under power in particular:
Preparation for leaving a marina berth
Getting a sailing vessel out of a marina pen
Briefing of crew for various mooring manoeuvres
Use of slip lines to maintain control
Bringing a sailing vessel alongside a berth under power
