With winter approaching the Marine Academy is offering tailored training on our 13m Beneteau Cyclades 43 Southern Investigator, fleet of 6 Elliot 7's and CYCSA members private vessels in the following areas:

• Passage planning and practical navigation with an emphasis on our gulf waters
• Private lessons as requested on club members yachts, cost is based on an hourly instructor rate
• Sail handling and maintenance including set, trim, reef and basic ropework
• Boat handling under power berthing and unberthing, anchoring and mooring
• Flexible RYA courses including:
  • Start Yachting over 2 days that can be done over separate weekends 
  • Competent Crew over 3 days that can be done over separate weekends
  • Dayskipper Practical over 5 days over separate weekends with at least one overnight on Southern Investigator
  • International Certificate of Competency (ICC) which is a requirement to charter yachts in European waters. The ICC proves your boating competence to charter companies and overseas authorities. It is widely required across many EU nations under UNECE Resolution 40.
• Flexible Australian Sailing courses and skills training on our fleet of Elliot 7's
• Short range and Long range radio courses

This training will be scheduled on weekends throughout winter but weekday training can be organised on a needs basis.
