Learn to Sail program

An intensive week course that combines both stage 1 and 2 (in accordance with guidelines from Australian Sailing)

 

Dates:

Monday 11 January 2021 till Friday 15 January 2021

Time:

9.00am till 2.30pm each day (25 hours in total)

Cost:

$450 (includes club membership till the end of the sailing season)

 

The course is designed for participants who wish to begin sailing in a dinghy. 

At the completion of the course participants will have gained confidence to be able to participate in future sailing programs (ie Adventure and Discover Sailing).

All dedicated sailing equipment will be supplied during participation in the course.

 

Important information:

• Participants will be required to supply their own lunch.

• While supervision will be provided as part of the training program ultimate responsibility for your child will be each parents’ responsibility and accordingly a parent or representative will need to be within close proximity in the event of an emergency.
• Importantly when we break for lunch (half hour) and supervision of your child will be required.

 

Pre-requisites

• At least 8 years of age.
• Be able to swim 50 metres unassisted
