Grounded: Creative Conversations in Nature
Event information
Prioritise Your Wellbeing with Us!
Mental Health Week offers artists and creatives a vital opportunity to prioritise self-care, explore creative expression without pressure, and connect with community-based wellbeing initiatives. In fact, research from Good Arts, Good Mental Health shows that just two hours of arts engagement per week can significantly boost happiness, relaxation, and confidence.
We are thrilled to announce that we are recipients of the QMHW 2026 Community Events Grant Program again this year!
Building on the success of last year’s Grounded Conversations, we are hosting a free, full-day event dedicated to creative exploration, nature connection, and meaningful peer support designed to cultivate personal resilience and collective wellbeing.
What to Expect:
-
Sensory Nature Connection: Ground yourself in our local natural surroundings.
-
Mindful Oubaitori Pottery: Engage in tactile, pressure-free creative play.
-
Collaborative Movement: Connect body and mind through group movement.
-
Café Conversations: Share inspiring discussions on finding joy and balance in artistic practice.
Come along to reconnect, recharge, and celebrate community resilience together.
